A CARD GAME FOR EDUCATORS TO REFLECT ON VALUES, EXPLORE IDEAS, AND SPARK HOPE FOR THE FUTURE, TOGETHER.

SUPPORTING TEACHERS, PROMOTING RETENTION

Re-Ignite is a question-driven game that supports teachers in building belonging and agency. Through three rounds of play, educators reflect, connect and envision together. Centered on personal values and aimed at addressing teacher attrition, Re-Ignite empowers educators to start conversations and build community. Re-Ignite is adaptable, and teachers have used this game in meetings, at brunches, during reunions, and for professional development days. Compared to other conversations, teachers experience more trust, greater enjoyment, and deeper reflection with Re-Ignite.

WHAT TEACHERS ARE SAYING

From brunches to Professional Development Days, Monday meetings to reunion parties,

Teachers find Re-Ignite useful and fun

It was so productive and nice to talk to other teachers with some structures intellectual prompts and ideas.

Tyler Knapp, Elementary Educator, Boulder Valley School District

This is so valuable! Especially for PLCs (professional learning communities). Because teachers can be very resistant to feedback without trust. This should be an investment on the front end to build trust and make meetings more productive.

Olivia Flores, Literature Teacher, Kansas City Public Schools

I carry the game in my purse because I’m always in teacher groups. So, if there is a lull, I can pull it out to play!

Ashley McGrath, Instructional Coach, Sunnyvale School District
